It was 1872 and Antonio Tognana "fornasiere" (kiln owner), who owned a kiln in Treviso and a warehouse in Venice at Ponte Foscari, used to supply roof tiles for covering Public buildings in the sea city. Over these 128 years we have always dealt with roofs, first with roof tiles, and then, since the end of the 1950s with Marseilles tiles, until in more recent years Portuguese tiles and the magnificent Royalcoppo tiles.
